Launching GPS: Gateway Parent Support at Gateway Christian Academy

At Talk Tactics, we believe every school’s parent engagement program should be as unique as its community. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Gateway Christian Academy to design a PTA-style program tailored exclusively for their school and give it a name that truly reflects their mission: GPS – Gateway Parent Support.

Just like a GPS guides you in the right direction, this program will help parents navigate their role in supporting students, teachers, and the school as a whole.

From Concept to Creation

Working closely with the leadership team, we helped:

• Create the program name and brand identity so it connects with the Gateway community.

• Develop a detailed GPS Handbook outlining goals, structure, and opportunities for parent involvement.

• Design engaging flyers to spread the word.

• Launch a two-week social media campaign during the first two weeks of school to get parents excited and involved from day one.

What’s Next for GPS

The journey is just getting started! Over the next few months, we’ll be helping Gateway:

• Host their first meetings and grow their volunteer base.

• Add a GPS section to their website to keep families informed and connected.

• Run a fall festival campaign to spotlight how GPS brings families together.

We’re excited to see how this program will strengthen the connection between families and the school, creating a vibrant support system for students.
